Ali

Outraged by the video of a woman setting herself on fire, Ali, a passionate young computer scientist, teams up with Abdallah, a bitter and depressed forty-something journalist, to raise awareness on the internet. This plunges Ali into an emotional whirlwind, in which hope and love, rage and anger intermingle, sweeping up his partner Aïcha and Abdallah into the fray. Eventually, Ali will come to understand that empathy is what lies at the heart of his desire to change the world.
