Patrick
Bossé
Montreal screenwriter and director Patrick Bossé honed his taste for filmmaking in the shadow of the oil refinery stacks in the city’s east-end Pointe-aux-Trembles district, armed with a rudimentary video camera. In 2008, he worked as an editor and director on the documentary series Paroles d’artiste, directing the segment Gilles Pelletier: Le chemin parcouru, which was selected for Montreal’s International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA). In 2009 and 2010, Bossé finished two fiction shorts, Une étoile de mer and Livraison à domicile, then returned to documentary filmmaking with 2012’s Un nouveau monde.
